AxeHouseCraft Cancellation Policy

At AxeHouseCraft, we aim to provide a clear and transparent shopping experience. This Cancellation Policy explains when an order can be cancelled or modified, and when cancellations are no longer possible.

By placing an order on our website, you acknowledge and accept the cancellation terms described below.

1. 24-Hour Cancellation Window

After payment confirmation, customers have a 24-hour window to request cancellation or changes to their order.

During this 24-hour period, we may be able to cancel or modify the order without issue, provided the order has not yet been dispatched or submitted to production.

2. On-Demand Products

Most of our diamond paintings are produced on demand.

This means that once an order is placed, the item is not necessarily already in stock. After the 24-hour review window, the order may be submitted to our supplier and enter production specifically for that customer.

Once an on-demand order has been confirmed with our supplier and/or entered production, it can no longer be cancelled, modified, or refunded, as production and supplier costs have already been incurred.

3. China Warehouse Orders

Unless clearly marked as Ready to Ship, our diamond paintings are produced on demand and shipped directly from our supplier in China, referred to on our website as our China Warehouse.

After the 24-hour cancellation window has passed, China Warehouse orders may be submitted to our supplier at any time.

Once submitted, the order enters the production and preparation process. At this stage, cancellation is no longer possible, even if the order has not yet been dispatched or tracking information has not yet been issued.

4. Ready to Ship Products

Products clearly marked as Ready to Ship are already in stock with AxeHouseCraft in Portugal and are prepared for faster dispatch.

Ready to Ship orders can only be cancelled if the cancellation request is received before the order has been packed, dispatched, or handed over to the carrier.

Due to the faster processing of Ready to Ship items, cancellation requests must be made as soon as possible after placing the order.

Once the order has been packed, dispatched, or handed over to the carrier, it can no longer be cancelled.

5. Dispatch & Tracking

A dispatch email with tracking information will be sent once the order has been shipped.

Please note that not receiving a dispatch email or tracking number immediately after purchase does not mean the order can still be cancelled.

For on-demand products, production and preparation take place before dispatch. Once the order has entered production or has been confirmed with our supplier, cancellation is no longer possible.

6. Order Changes

Customers may request changes to their order within the 24-hour cancellation window after payment confirmation.

Order changes may include changes to product options, size, drill type, shipping address, or customer information.

After the 24-hour window has passed, changes are no longer guaranteed and may not be possible, especially if the order has already been submitted to production, prepared for shipping, or dispatched.

Customers are responsible for ensuring that all order details are correct before completing the purchase.

7. Refused or Unclaimed Orders

If an order is refused, not collected, or returned due to incorrect information provided by the customer, missed delivery attempts, unpaid customs fees, or failure to collect the parcel, the order will not be considered cancelled.

In such cases, refund eligibility will be reviewed according to our Return Policy and any shipping, production, supplier, or return costs may be deducted where applicable.

8. Exceptions

Cancellations may still be possible if an item is unavailable, production cannot be completed, or we are unable to fulfil the order for reasons on our side.

In such cases, we will contact the customer and offer an alternative solution, replacement, store credit, or refund where appropriate.

9. Refunds After Cancellation

If a cancellation request is approved within the allowed timeframe, the refund will be processed back to the original payment method.

Refund processing times may vary depending on the payment provider, bank, or platform used at checkout.

Approved refunds are usually processed within 5 to 10 business days, but it may take longer for the funds to appear in the customer’s account depending on the payment provider.
